How many weddings do you book a year?

I personally take up to 20 weddings a year to ensure the best experience for my clients. Therefore, I only commit to a limited number of weddings per month and year.
 
When should I book you?


Since my weddings are limited, I encourage couples to book with me nine to 12 months before their wedding date. 

How do I book my date with you?


Your wedding date is officially reserved after initial retainer & contract is signed. Unfortunately, I cannot promise any date until I have received both.

Will your prices be the same in six months?
 
Rates are subject to change. To lock in the current rate listed on the website a signed contract and paid retainer is required. 

Will I get two photographers on my wedding day?

Yes! All of my wedding collections include a second photographer because I truly believe you deserve to see your wedding day from more than one angle. 

Do you travel?

I do! I am constantly re-inspired when I travel and photograph in different places. My destination wish list is Naples, Florida (anywhere in South Florida), Oregon, South Carolina, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona just to name a few! 

Are you insured?

Yes, completely!

Do you edit all of the photos?

Yes, I look at every image and process them before delivery to ensure they are perfect and ready to print! 

How long does it take to get photos back?

Weddings are delivered in 8 weeks or less. Portrait sessions are delivered in 4 weeks or less after you’ve chosen your favorites from your proofing gallery. I work hard to get your photos back to you as soon as possible.

How do I receive my photos?

I deliver my photos through a convenient, secure online gallery where you can download your high-resolution photos directly to your computer!

Do I get printing rights?

Yes of course! You can print and share your photos as often as you’d like! (Please do!)

Do you watermark your photos?

No! I am hired to capture your beautiful memories! These are images are ones you’ll hang on your wall, placed in a frame on your desk, and shared with family. I do not want to take away from the beauty of your images with a distracting watermark. Although, I appreciate and love seeing my amazing clients credit me as the photographer whenever they share their images online or to social media!

Where will my engagement session take place?

That’s entirely up to you! I am primarily a natural light photographer and will look for the best light at any location to achieve my aesthetic. I will always choose light over location!! We are so lucky to live in Northern Michigan with its breathtaking views of bright blue water, sandy beaches, rolling hills, fields of wildflowers, rivers and streams, wineries, orchards (especially early spring blossoms), downtown streetscapes and so much more! I am always happy to give recommendations but my favorite will always be cherry or apple orchards! Even something as simple as a dirt road can be the perfect location.

Why do you love engagement sessions?

I love them because it gives us a chance to get to know each other, make friends and just have lots of fun. This is the secret to tons of gorgeous portraits on your wedding day. You’ll know how I work and you’ll be much more relaxed.  

Will I get to choose which images I want in my gallery?

For weddings, no. Rest assured you will receive the very best in your gallery which will be around 500-600 images. 

For portrait sessions, yes! All engagement, maternity & senior sessions will receive an online proofing gallery that contains all images. They will be unedited, low resolution and watermarked. You'll have 2 weeks to choose your favorites. After you've selected your favorites, it will take up to 4 weeks to receive your completed gallery which will be professionally edited, high-resolution and un-watermarked.
